appreciating the human form

In the US there is a taboo when it comes to nudity, especially when it comes to genitals. And especially in tv and movies. Often tv-networks have detailed guide lines and regulations on what words can be used and what can be explicitly shown. The writers for every tv-show must constantly come up with cute and innovative metaphores for the words penis and vagina. Therefore I find it hilarious when tv shows find ways to get around those guidelines and regulations, especially when it is unintentional.

Peter Griffin in Family Guy

Peter's chin is meant to look like a mans scrotum. The creator Seth MacFarlane has publically made that statement in an interview.

Lois Griffin in Family Guy

Lois' hairstyle resembles the head of a penis. Not sure if this is intentional. Haven't seen much on this subject. Maybe it's all related to my associative skills.

Twiki the robot from the sci-fi show Buck Rogers

Twiki (the silver robot to the right) has a head, shaped like a penis.

According to some interviews with the actors the whole thing is just coincidental, an honest mistake from the designer. Don't know how this could get pass them though.
